Asavela Mngqithi is an actress popularly known for her role as Ntwenhle on Mansi Magic’s Isibaya, Having been blessed with beauty and talent, the curvy actress continues to take the South African acting industry by storm.

It was quite sad when isibiya came to an end after 7 years and fans probably thought it would a while until Asavela stars in a telenovela as big as isibiya but that wasn’t quite it as her talent has earned her another major role in a leading drama series. She is now part of the cast of Abomama which returned to our screens on the 4th of July for season 2 and she is doing splendidly.

Asavela was born and raised in Durban. She’s the daughter of Manqoba Mngqithi, a South African football coach.

She went to AFDA where she studied Camera and Editing but she had to drop out of college in her third year because of personal reasons. She hopes to go back and finish. In an interview she did earlier, she revealed that acting was not what she wanted because she didn’t have a degree but had to try her luck anyway and well judging by her success, she was lucky.

She’s one of those famous people who keep their lives as just that, private! , but she has recently been trending a little over the announcement of her pregnancy.

Keeping her love life on the low, Asavela revealed that she is ready for marriage and that fans should get ready.

“I have such a thoughtful man…I don’t know how I settled for less before. I’ve been with my man for years now and he never misses anything when it comes to me. Always so gentle even when I’m a bit loco…thungisani right now!” she gushed.

Many famous people who have been advocating for people to take the covid vaccine to take pictures and videos of themselves vaccinating and take vaccine question and answer videos like Pearl Thusi did to try and convince the public to vaccinate.The abomama star decided to take a different approach, she took to Instagram to share her thoughts on the covid vaccination. She took a humours approach to talking about and probably even urging the public to vaccinate, even though it is quite unclear from the post whether she vaccinated or not.”Nothing is more stressful than a breadwinner refusing to vaccinate” she wrote.
