Atandwa Kani talks about how working in the US and breathing his dream.

Actor Atandwa Kani has lifted the lid on what it takes for him to measure out his acting dream in America. With most parts of the planet under lockdown and self-isolating reception thanks to the coronavirus pandemic, Atandwa went on a young Instagram survive Artists Corner TV with fellow actor Thapelo Mokoena sharing more insight on how he was pushing his acting dream within the US.

“I’ve always had the dream to return to my due to the theatre, it’s within us, there are tons more opportunities. So, I started availing myself more on international work. Atandwa added he had to be a neighborhood of the many productions so as to urge his face known within the international acting industry.

“We did Young Leonardo which may be a BBC production, we did Life Is Wild together Taps, We did Book Of Negros with Cuba Gooding Jr, Young Mandela … I shot Black Panther in Atlanta while i used to be still living in SA. So, I had to possess that body of labor for once I came [so] people would know a touch bit about me … cause they haven’t seen me before, I had to start out from scratch. it had been more sort of a rebirth of an actor. For him to find out and understand the international market, Atandwa explained he had to review the culture which can help him translate it more in his acting.

“And then, I enrolled at NYU, in order that I can study the American theatre, the American work, writers, directors and producers … to find out about this particular dialect which i think I’m trying. So, what I’m actually doing is planting seeds and putting all the pieces of the puzzle in one area in order that I can start performing on the larger picture.
