Babe Wodumo was playing with the phone during the burial ceremony

Bongekile Mildred Simelane (born July 26, 1994), better known as Babes Wodumo is a South African artist and choreographer. She rose to fame following the release of her breakthrough song “Wololo”, in 2016. The song later appeared on her debut studio album, Gqom Queen, released in late 2016. Babes Wodumo married Mandla Maphumulo in 2020. In 2021 they had their first child, even though Babes’ parents didn’t know. They have a reality show, “uthando lodumo,” which premiered on the Showmax channel (495).

After losing Mampitsha on 24 December after suffering from a stroke in the hospital. Yesterday it was Mapintsha’s funeral. As it was Mampintsha’s Funeral it looks like all eyes were on babes Wodumo the widow of the deceased people were watching everything she was doing and this made some people make some silly comments about her, how she dressed, and what she was doing.

A lady by the name of Khethiwe took to social media to share what she noticed about Babes Wodumo that she didn’t like. Khethiwe wrote that Babes Wodumo is busy on her phone on the other side she is wearing white clothes.

What this lady said didn’t sit well with a lot of people as they feel that she is being judgemental of grieving someone it doesn’t mean you have to look sad and cry all the time that’s not fair. But Babes is also a human being there are things that she will do that people won’t like which is normal, it’s not everyone that’s going to agree with everything you do.

Someone even commented saying Even her sisters were wearing White Clothes who told black people that black clothes are for funerals? She continued to say that white was Mamphintsha’s favorite Colour.

As people, we are entitled to our own opinion and what this lady shared was her opinion but the mistake she made was judge Babes Wodumo that’s probably what got people angry.
