Various reports confirm that a 21-year-old woman has opened a case against revered Bishop Makamu for allegedly sexually assaulting her within the past. After keeping mum about the entire incident, the lady who was only 17 years old at the time, has turned to the law, hoping that it’ll add her favour.

Social media saw how Bishop Makamu tried to urge out of this example last Sunday, during a church at the Endless Hope Bible church. He called it “Bishop’s Itinerary” where he invited his spiritual father Pastor PS Gumbi. He then apologised to his wife Hloniphile Makamu also because the congregants and general public.


As if stepping down from his duties at Moja Love wasn’t enough, he publicly asked for forgiveness, making many wonder if that was admission of guilt.

Now, the alleged victim has decided to use the resources the justice system in South Africa has provided, by opening a case of sexual abuse . consistent with Daily Sun, the incident happened in 2018, whereas the Bishop said the recorded cellphone conversation happened in 2017.

In an exclusive interview with Solomon’s temple, the lady says it started off with inappropriate looks, to the Bishop allegedly trying to kiss her. She worked at the church as a receptionist and said she was with a colleague at a parking zone when he gave her apparent carnal looks. The 17 year old wasn’t wearing anything revealing or sexual, saying she wore jeans and a leotard .

The alleged victim says she received phone calls from the Bishop, requesting to satisfy up so she could give him the keys. once they met up, the Bishop allegedly told her to urge in and made advances. They then drove to the church and claimed that Makamu attempted to kiss her but she ran away.

The next day, he apparently called her posing for “it” and within the recorded voice clip, the lady responds with “Sunday.” within the interview, the woman says the part where Makamu allegedly asks to roll in the hay her wasn’t recorded.

After informing her parents, her father confronted the Bishop. initially he denied everything and accused her for faking the recording. Then as time went Makamu apparently started being arrogant by pulling the “Do you recognize who I am” phrase.

R1 million bribe wasn’t enough for the family as they then demanded an apology. Which he apparently did not give, in order that they made their thanks to the Midrand police headquarters .

A policeman , Captain Mavela Masondo confirmed this to Daily Sun and said the case are going to be relayed to the family violence, child protection and sexual offences unit.
