RACHEL AND SIYA END MARRIAGE

The rugby player Siya and businesswoman Rachel Kolisi announced in a statement on Instagram that they have mutually decided to end their marriage.

“We wanted to share some important news with you. After much reflection and open conversations, we have mutually decided to end our marriage.”

“This decision comes from a place of love, respect and understanding that this is the best path forward for both of us. While our relationship as a couple is changing, we remain great friends and committed partners in raising our children with the same love and care they’ve always known.”

The couple also reveal that they will continue to work together on their foundation.

The Springboks captain and first lady have been married for eight years.

WHEN DID KOLISIS GET MARRIED?

Rachel and Siya Kolisi met at a dinner party in Stellenbosch back in 2012. The pair tied the knot on 13 August 2016 in a beautiful ceremony in Franschhoek

They have a first son, Nicholas Siyamthanda, who was born in 2015 and a daughter named Keziah, who was born in 2017.

Wedding Etc reports that Siya’s young half-siblings Liyema and Liphelo also live with the family. The Springboks captain and siblings share a mother who unfortunately passed away in 2009.
