Cassper Nyovest stops his silence and shows his grief over AKA’s death

The untimely passing of AKA shocked many people in South Africa, especially the celebrities who worry that it’s becoming common for unidentified shooters to target musicians. Cassper Nyovest is one of the clear sufferers of this anxiety.

In a recent interview, Cassper revealed that he had increased security following the shooting death of DJ Sumbody.

The rapper and businessman recalled how security is prioritized in other nations where he has performed in an interview that was just published by SurgeZirc SA.

After the music business lost DJ Sumbody to an unidentified gunman, he delivered a statement. After Cassper made those comments, news of AKA’s passing spread quickly online.

We all know that AKA and Cassper Nyovest were not the best of friends, so fans wondered how the “Lemonade” hitmaker’s passing would affect him, well AKA went on to Twitter to share statements aimed at Kiernan and Tebello’s passing.

My sincere condolences goes to Cassper Nyovest who has a very good heart and always wants to see everyone win. It is so sad that he is now the only South African hip hop pioneer who is left behind to mentor newly signed and upcoming hip hop artists. Cassper Nyovest believed so much in AKA’s music career as much as AKA believed in Cassper Nyovest’s music career. AKA may be gone but he will never be forgotten by Cassper Nyovest, he will forever cherish the last moments they shared.

” My sincere condolences goes out to Kiernan and Tebello’s families, colleagues and fans. May their souls rest in peace and their legacies be celebrated. May the Good lord be with all of you at this sad time. ”

The sad death of AKA occurred on February 10, 2023, and although it has been confirmed by his parents, details about his funeral are yet to be made public.
