Reports suggest that Cassper Nyovest was allowed access to the Forbes family home
Cassper Nyovest did apparently visit The Forbes family following the death of his rap arch-enemy, AKA. The late rapper Kiernan Jarryd Forbes has gunned down in Durban, Florida road on February 10. The publication reports that Casper went to the rapper’s home in Bryanston, Johannesburg to pay his respects.
While he was there, Cassper reportedly told the family that his beef with AKA was ‘exaggerated’ and that they actually got along. This takes us back to the high-five they gave each other during the soccer game between Hip-hop and Maskandi, where the rap genre won.
A source told the publication that Cassper apologized for not being able to attend the memorial and funeral because he would go on a business trip, “Cassper Nyovest arrived there and told AKA’s family that the much-publicized beef between him and AKA was over-exaggerated and that they were getting along very well and shared the same vision. He then told the family that he would not be able to attend the funeral because he was flying out of the country on a business trip.”
While they openly welcomed Cassper into their home, the publication reports that Moses Tembe was ignored by the family when he requested to attend the funeral.
Allegedly, when he contacted them, they responded with, “They simply told him that they were busy.”
Following news that the Tembe family were looking to take the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) to court because they did not prosecute in the case of their late daughter Anele Tembe, the Forbes were reportedly hurt.
“The Tembes also believe that AKA did not attend to Anele who was alive 20 minutes after she landed on the ground, but instead cleaned the hotel room which had blood, and then went ahead to party with his friends after her passing. These explosive details are contained in a scathing letter which was written on behalf of the family by their lawyers TM Incorporated Attorneys to the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) in the Western Cape after it declined to prosecute the rapper following an investigation into Anele’s death in June last year.” wrote City Press
“The family of Anele Tembe, the late fiancée of Kiernan “AKA” Forbes, is taking the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) to the high court for failing to reveal the contents of a docket that led to its decision not to prosecute the late rapper in connection with her death.” wrote City Press. “The call that Forbes made to the reception was made after Anele Tembe had already landed on the ground. The video footage that captured her fall records a time that is prior to the call that Forbes made to the reception of the hotel. The evidence in the form of the record of the call and the video footage, which are contained in the docket were shockingly ignored. The receptionist is easily contradicted by that” reported the publication.
