In 2014 Siya legally adopted his siblings, Liyema and Liphelo. After their mom’s passing they moved around in foster care and Siya promised to take care of them when he found them.

In 2015, Rachel and Siya welcomed their first child, a son Nicholas. And by 2017 they were a family of six, when Keziah was born.
