Chrissy Teigen has assured fans she is “okay” after suffering a pregnancy loss, in her first Instagram post since breaking the tragic news.

The 34-year-old model opened about tragically losing her third child fortnight ago, and has remained silent on social media ever since.

But on Friday, Chrissy posted on Instagram to reply to a glowing tribute left on social media by her husband, John Legend, during which he said he’s “in awe” of her “strength”.

Sharing screenshots of his message, Chrissy simply wrote: “We are quiet but we are okay. Love you all such a lot .”
John – who also has Luna, four, and Miles, two, with Chrissy – posted his tribute earlier in the week , after dedicating a performance of his song ‘Never Break’ to his spouse at the Billboard Music Awards.

He wrote: “This is for Chrissy. i really like and cherish you and our family such a lot . “We’ve experienced the very best highs and lowest lows together.

“Watching you carry our youngsters has been so moving and humbling.

“I’m in awe of the strength you’ve shown through the foremost challenging moments. What an awesome gift it’s to be ready to bring life into the planet .

“We’ve experienced the miracle, the facility and joy of this gift, and now we’ve deeply felt its inherent fragility.

“I wrote this song because I even have faith that as long as we walk this earth, we’ll hold each other’s hands through every tear, through every up and down, through every test.

“We promised one another this on our day seven years ago, and each challenge we’ve faced has made that promise more powerful, more resilient. Our love will remain. we’ll never break.

Chrissy lost her baby – whom she and John had already named Jack – after being rushed to hospital and undergoing two blood transfusions.

Confirming the devastating news on Instagram, she wrote: “We are shocked and within the quite deep pain you simply hear about, the type of pain we’ve never felt before.

“We were never ready to stop the bleeding and provides our baby the fluids he needed, despite bags and bags of blood transfusions. It just wasn’t enough.

“We never choose our babies’ names until the last possible moment after they’re born, just before we leave the hospital.

“But we, for a few reason, had began to call this tiny guy in my belly Jack.

“So he will always be Jack to us.

“Jack worked so hard to be a neighborhood of our little family, and he are going to be , forever.

“To our Jack – I’m so sorry that the primary few moments of your life were met with numerous complications, that we couldn’t offer you the house you needed to survive. we’ll always love you. (sic)
