Connie Ferguson mourns a friend close to her heart

Actress and businesswoman Connie Ferguson is mourning the passing of her brother. Taking to Instagram to announce the sad news, Connie sad she is happy that her brother is no longer in pain.

She said his last days on Earth were painful and uncomfortable.

Connie added that seeing him at her father’s birthday celebration after many years was God’s way of giving her and the family a chance to bid farewell to him.

She wrote: “Budas, I thank God that I was able to spend some time with you on Pops’ birthday.🏾 After so many years! I believe this was God’s way of giving us the opportunity to say goodbye, to build final memories together, and to celebrate life one final time together.”

She also shared her favorite childhood memories that she made with her late brother. She said his memory will live on.

“You, me, and Tony were the three musketeers growing up. So many memories that just bring a smile to my face! Your infectious laughter, how you would slap me on the shoulder when you burst out laughing! Your special signature walk swinging your arms to the back! So many memories! I love you, big bro.️ I will never forget you.”

Concluding her lengthy heartfelt tribute to his brother, Connie said he should pass her love to her later mother.

“I’m sorry your last moments on this earth were so painful and uncomfortable! Rest now. God has taken that pain away. You join the angels that advocate for us daily on the other side. Give my love to Moms.️She’s waiting to welcome you with open arms! I love you, big bro. Now rest ANGEL,” she concluded.

A few weeks ago, Connie took to Instagram to share that she finally managed to spend time with her siblings after a very long time. She said they have been keeping away from each other because of COVID-19. They got together to celebrate their father’s birthday.

“I can’t remember the last time I was so happy! My heart is so full! This young man called my Dad turned 85 today! The last time I saw Pops was just before COVID hit! In trying to protect him we stayed away and FaceTimed a lot. Today, heaven and earth had to move for all his seven children and Karate children to gather and celebrate their HERO!” she wrote.
