IDOLS SA SEASON 19 STAR ROBBED IN KEMPTON PARK

The incident happened barely a few weeks after gospel singer Thinah Zungu and his family were robbed at their home in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal. Confirmed reports have it that the singer was robbed of valuables worth over R500 000 and a BMW X5, which was later recovered.

Speaking to the media, Thinah Zungu said, “I work so hard for my family, preaching about changing lives, but the same people who we motivate are the ones who have the guts to come into my home and rob us.”

Like Zungu, Princess was unharmed, but the robbers walked away with several valuables worth thousands. However, the Idols SA season 19 star has since opened a case at the Norkem Park Police Station.

Speaking to the media, she revealed that unknown men knocked at her door, and she couldn’t connect the dots about their story since they were looking for someone she didn’t know.

“I live with someone but he was not home. We use a remote to get into the property. The two guys managed to get inside the property and knocked at the door. When I asked who was at the door and tried to check, they said they were looking for someone. They mentioned a name I don’t know,” former Idols SA star Princess McDonald said.

However, before she knew it, they had already pounced on her and ransacked the house. “They then opened the burglar door and told me to sit in the room and relax, and they would not harm me,” she added.

The robbers took her cell phone, TV and other valuable items. She does not suspect anyone would harm her.

PRINCESS MCDONALD: ‘I DO NOT FEEL SAFE AT ALL’

However, Princess revealed that the robbers came with an intention. “I live in the main house, and we have tenants in the back. The robbers did not go to the back. They ended up here in the house with me. I feel like they knew what they wanted and came with intention. I do not feel safe at all,” she said.

“It’s a horrible experience. You don’t know what will happen to you or whether they will harm you,” Princess added.
