Congratulations are in order for former Miss South Africa Ntandoyenkosi Kunene who celebrates a huge milestone in her life.
The model and actress is best known for being crowned Miss South Africa in 2016. Born on the 18th of April 1992 Ntando celebrated turning 30-years old this week.

Responding to the beautiful messages she received she posted, “Thank you so so much for all your heartfelt birthday messages. I may not get to each message but I see them and I appreciate it immensely. Ngiyabonga Kakhulu!!”

The former Miss SA celebrated at the most beautiful and classy get-together fit for a Queen of her stature.

Ntando, who married Gospel start Kaya Mthethwa for two years announced in 2019 that they had filed for divorce.

“….In the last few days my husband and I have had an in depth discussions about our marriage and our young family challenges. On Sunday we met my in laws and informed them of our mutual decision for us to amicably file for divorce,” her statement read in part.


She also revealed, at the time, that she and her son, Oyinkosi Mthethwa had moved out of their marital home in Durban and moved back to Ntando’s place of birth, Mpumalanga.

In her statement, Ntandoalso indicated that there won’t be any maintenance battle, as they’ll both continue providing for their son in every way possible.

“…On behalf of Khaya and I, we request you to respect our privacy as we go through this difficult process. We know and appreciate your love and concerns about us but do know that we are fine and this decision is in the best interest of both of us. We agreed to handle our divorce amicably,with mutual respect and no contest. Khaya and I will remain friends. ” reads the statement.

In an interview on YFM with Khutso Theledi following his divorce to Ntando Kunene, Khaya said the way society treated him led to him feeling depressed and alone.


“I am 33, divorced, been through alcohol, been through just trying to numb the pain. I have struggled because how are you going to be able to speak to your generation if you have never been through what they are going through,” he said in part.
