SKOMOTA WOWS FANS WITH RECENT SET

Against his newfound fame, he has been cashing in millions from ambassadorial gigs to club appearances.

With his now-viral video, Mzansi was more than convinced that he must add DJing to his income streams.

Skomota is trending after his video spinning the decks went viral. In the now-viral video, he was DJing with Mystro, who was seemingly enjoying the set.

However, little is known about the joint he was at when the video was taken and whether he was booked.

He has undoubtedly been receiving his flowers against the trending video, which has seen his old DJying videos resurface online.

This is not his first time taking over the decks at a local joint. He also wowed fans in September when he had a set at a local joint.

However, just like other sets, his recent performance left Mzansi divided. Fans and several celebrities have since shared their two cents on his latest instalment.

An X user compared Skomota with DJ Sbu, who is making headlines for the wrong reasons. The user commented, “He’s better than DJ Sbu.”

Another user commented, “I didn’t know he’s this good, you, even better than Prince Kaybee.” Popular X user LubnaAman8943 praised Skomota, “Bro just unlocked the ‘no mercy’ achievement.”

Prince Kaybee, who has pushed the trends against the now-viral clip, also weighed in with his views. The celebrated muso said, “Music is the most disrespected art to date.”

MAKING HEADLINES AND EXPLOITATION RUMOURS
Last year, Skomota made headlines after winning the lottery. However, against the backdrop of his big win, the star quickly spread his wings to club hosting and paid appearances.

Last year, a rumour mill revealed that Skomota makes around R545 000 monthly. Earlier this year, a leaked chat revealed that Skomota costs R90 000 to book.

However, his management has not confirmed the amount circulating on social media.

This year, Skomota once suspended all bookings amid exploitation rumours. The decision came after his close friend and road manager accused Moruti wa Dikota of exploitation.

Skomota’s friend Skothane sa Pitori revealed that Moruti wa Dikota allegedly defrauded the star thousands.

While on the LiPO Podcast, Skothane sa Pitori said Skomota has no bank account. He added that all his bookings are made through Dikota’s account, which Skomota cannot access.
