In a statement from the channel today, 19 November 2020, eTV stated, “e.tv has noted concernedly the circulation of misleading media reports about the explanations for Hungani Ndlovu’s temporary exit from popular daily drama Scandal! The channel, alongside Ochre Media, refutes the claims made that Hungani was fired from the show for bad behavior, nor had his character, Romeo been killed off.
