South African model, influencer, photographer and plus-size blogger Thickleeyonce recently celebrated her 28th birthday. She took to social media to show how she welcomed another year into her life.

Thickleeyonce has worked with virtually every celebrity you can think of. Young, ambitious and often criticized for the way she prides herself in being a curvy woman, she is definitely carving her own way to the top and redefining beauty with her camera.

Thickleeyonce, has regularly had to fight off trolls. When she posted a snap of herself wearing tight fitted clothes; though she received heaps of compliments, not everybody was appreciative and they trolled and body-shamed her.

Popular for her body-positive and outspoken character, Thickleeyonce has been a role model for plus-size women and she constantly seeks to challenge the status quo of plus-size women not being the ideal body type.

Regrettably, in her quest to be confident about her plus size and be the voice that drowns fat-shaming, the Savage X Fenty Influencer was exposed for body shaming skinny people.

When she was called out for her toxic behaviour, unfortunately, she refused to apologize and saw nothing wrong with her disrespect for skinny people. This wasn’t very well accepted by Tweeps and she was soon trending on Twitter.

Thickleeyonce defends Nasty C’s on his ‘body shaming’ lyrics

Nasty C has been called out for body-shaming YouTuber Thickleeyonce in one of his songs from his album Zulu Man With Some Power.

“My shirt like Thickleeyonce, it’s all rounded,” his lyrics said.

Many saw it as an innocent shout out to her, however some were offended by it and called him out for body shaming her.

In Nasty C’s defense, Thickleeyonce said the rapper contacted her months before writing the verses and she saw no problem with it. In fact, she said she was excited about it.
