Sindi Dlathu as Zanemvula, who manipulates and exploits people’s belief systems for her own benefit.She’s been doing it for years with her creepy, freako ex-husband and now she’s returning to mess with the minds of the family she deserted.Zanemvula left Zwelakhe, Buhle and the rest of her family high and dry to pursue her “calling” of being the chief wife to a cult leader who goes by the name of “Anointed One” in a Malawian church.

After authorities caught up with what they had been up to, she returns to Mzimhlophe under the false pretence of trying to reunite with her family.

Zanemvula has mastered the art of deception and will stop at nothing to get what she wants. However, being deceitful doesn’t leave you without a few enemies along the way, one of them being Connie.With their dreadful history, what will happen when Connie wakes up from her coma? One thing’s for sure: Connie won’t want to find herself trapped in Zanemvula’s prayer room.
