It was reported that two bodies of women were discovered shot dead inside a white BMW on the N4 highway early Sunday morning.

According to Truckers SA, the vehicle, riddled with bullet holes, was found parked on the roadside, about 5km from the Alzu Petroport.

The women, who suffered fatal gunshot wounds, were pronounced dead at the scene.

Bullet damage was visible on the back right window, suggesting that the vehicle had been targeted and the victims executed while stationary.

The gruesome discovery was made at approximately 08:30, with no one found in the driver’s seat at the time.

Authorities are still piecing together the details of this violent incident, and the motive remains unclear.

Investigators are urging anyone with information to come forward as the investigation continues.
