A Johannesburg man has been condemned to various life sentences for the assault of three ladies.

“Careful examination and assortment of proof by the researching official prompted the effective conviction and condemning of Joseph Tebogo Mhlanga, 32, who assaulted three ladies in Soshanguve and submitted a line of housebreak-ins and robberies,” police representative Capt Mavela Masondo said.

Mhlanga was condemned by the Soshanguve judge’s court to a lifelong incarceration for every one of the three assaults, 15 years for burglary with irritating conditions, and four years on each tally of housebreaking and robbery.

“Mhlanga and his associate, who is still on the run, alternated to assault two women in Soshanguve in April 2011 preceding denying them of their cellphones and cash. Again in June 2011, he captured a youngster while on her approach to class in Soshanguve and assaulted her,” said Masondo.

On August 23 2018, Mhlanga was captured and accused of three checks of assault and theft with irritating conditions.

He was connected to four additional instances of housebreaking and robbery submitted in Soshanguve between July 2013 and June 2014.

“Mhlanga was indicted on all the charges and will consume this existence sentences and 31 years in prison. This weighty sentence is ascribed to the responsibility, difficult work, and devotion of investigator sergeant Kgosana to his work. The casualties would now be able to discover conclusion,” Masondo said.
