Entertainment commentator Phil Mphela reports that Jub Jub will soon be gracing the small screens after making amends with the channel’s CEO, Aubrey Tau.

X users have reacted to Mphela’s report, with many expressing their excitement for the Ndikhokhele hitmaker’s comeback to the show. Some believe the channel is bringing him back to improve its ratings.

@iam_Nicolson wrote “I see the channel realised they needed him more than he needed them”

@ManyovuG wrote “CEO, Aubrey Tau, needs to relax. Jub Jub is a controversial character, and some of us still can’t get through what he did in Protea Glen, but he was born for TV…that is the indisputable quality he has”

HIS SHOCKING RESIGNATION LETTER

The muso’s decision to return to the show comes after reports emerged that he had a fallout
with Tau.

According to Sunday World, Jub Jub tendered his resignation claiming to have suffered emotional and verbal abuse from Tau.

In his resignation letter, he expressed his dissatisfaction with the poor working conditions on the show.

He said his creative output was affected by unfavorable working conditions. Jub Jub mentioned that this would lead to a decrease in viewership.

TAU ACCUSES THE MUSO OF BEING ‘UNGRATEFUL’
According to emails seen by the news outlet, Aubrey labelled the musician as “ungrateful,” “dishonest,” and “very arrogant.”

This is after Tau claimed that the channel had provided him with support during his challenging times.

Tau also mentioned that they paid his legal fees when he faced damning sexual abuse allegations.

“You were accused of a serious crime of rape, and the company, out of its own goodwill, and after you requested, offered to pay for your legal fees, and this was a huge amount and no less than R1-million,” said Tau.

Tau also claimed that the show lost its top ranking to X Repo due to the presenter’s lack of professionalism.

“Your attitude and lack of respect towards the crew and participants diluted the show and was regrettable. Our number one show is now X Repo because you have a presenter who understands his boundaries and respects his craft and is only paid per show,” Tau stated.

JUB JUB’S MONTHLY SALARY REVEALED

Contrary to widespread rumors suggesting that the muso was earning a staggering R500,000
per month for his role as the host of the show, Tau revealed that the controversial presenter was getting paid R180,000 per month.

“The mistake we have done was to give you a monthly fee. The company would pay you monthly R180 000 even if you did not work and yet you term this unfair treatment,” Tau stated.
