Lalla is not afraid to show some skin. Have you seen her red carpet dresses?
We don’t have that many red carpet events in South Africa, but when we do, our favourite celebrities know exactly what to do.

They show up dressed to the nines, they don’t commit fashion offences and always create a fashionable moment to remember.

Here are a few of our best dressed local celebrities.

Lalla Hiranyama

The TV presenter and personality isn’t afraid to take a fashion risk.

Her bright, bold and fashion-forward choices always make Lalla a red carpet favourite at glamorous events.

Maps Maponyane

The model and personality can do it all.

Whether he is rocking a casual style, or gets all glammed up for the red carpet, Maps Maponyane can do no wrong.

He always looks sleek and suave, like our very own 007. And he has the gift of pulling off every colour he gets dressed in – blue or pink, sometimes even brown or a splash of all colours in a Hawaiian shirt.

Sarah Langa Mackay

The fashion influencer loves labels. And on her social pages she invites her fans into her fashion world of dresses, labels and style.

She’s a fashion and brand influencer with Scotch and Soda and Woolworths – and she deserves all of the fashion accolades that’s available. Sarah isn’t afraid to mix it up and try fashion trends, like mixing high fashion with the ugly sneaker trend.

She’s always hitting the right fashion note proving that style is always fashionable.

Minnie Dlamini-Jones

When it comes to her fashion choices, Minnie always has the tongues wagging.

Some of her most memorable fashion moments was in a gown by Gert-Johan Coetzee.

Happy Monday to you! No blue Monday allowed, it's Spring! So put a spring in your step and enjoy the week ahead with possibilities and opportunities. Did you ever wonder where the term Blue Monday comes from? According to Wikipedia, Blue Monday is a name given to a day in January (typically the third Monday of the month) claimed to be the most depressing day of the year. The concept was first publicised as part of a 2005 press release from a holiday company which claimed to have calculated the date using an equation. It takes into account weather conditions and this only applies to the Northern hemisphere. So, as we are from the south, there ain't no such thing 😊💙 South Africa is a beautiful place despite the negative sentiments many are feeling and spreading at the moment. We (like any other nation) have our issues, but no where in the world feels like home and we are blessed to be sons and daughters of our land's soil. Have a beautiful day and week ahead! #MondayMotivation #happyMonday #bluemonday #mondayblues #bluesforwhat #bluecafe #mantsho #cafelife #butfirstcoffee #tamboerskloof #AfricanQueen #africanstyle @palesamokubung #palesamakubong @bluecafe_ #nixstowephotography @nixstowephotography #myhood #SouthAfrica #capetowntotheworld #capetown

The actor and TV presenter is an innovator when it comes to his fashion choices and his red carpet looks

He is always showing the industry and his fans why he is the style icon South Africa deserves. A fashion risk taker, Somizi can get away with anything that would look out of place on most other people.

And the bigger the better – scarves, tulle, hats – he does it all.
