Lawrence Maleka:I’m single, not married.”
This year, TV star Lawrence Maleka has made it clear that he is single, despite rumors that he is married.
He addressed his background, profession, and love life in an interview with The King’s Cast
Lawrence stated that he rubs his ring finger, which is presumably why many believe he is no longer available.
“It started with my cousin. Zenokuhle Maseko played Mbali in The River, and with that, we got really close. She’s a good person, and we hung out, and then we found out that we are family. That’s where it developed. We would spend a lot of time together off-screen. She’s a social media person and every time we hung out she would post. So everyone assumed me and Zeno are a couple. She’s like my baby sister.”
“I recently ended a relationship.” To put it simply, I should be married. I’m that man; I care about my family.
Recently, the actor won an award at SAFTAs 2023 for best actor in Telenova. He is a well-known South African actor, presenter, and host. He rose to prominence after hosting the Mzansi Magic reality show Clash of the Choirs in South Africa.
“I think I’ve been working hard for a while now, so for me what these rewards and accolades come to is again testament that there’s power in keeping your silence and keeping your head down and focusing on the product, and I’ve always been a firm believer in that. I’ve always been about the work and I’ve never been one to announce. I think half, if not most, of everything I’ve done has always just announced itself. I think once you start paying attention to the work it will resonate and it will make the noise, and that’s what I want people to know me for, just the work and the attention to detail of the work,”

Maleka also received praise when he took over as Bonang Matheba’s replacement in the show’s third season in 2016. Fans of the TV show “The River” recognize him as Zolani.
