The extraordinarily talented Amapiano member, by the name Mpura, was taken to his final place on the 17th of August 2021. He succumbed to unsustainable fatal injuries on the night of the 7th of August 2021. All family members shared a piece of their minds when they accompanied this legend to his final resting place.


According to reports, the funeral of the late Amapiano star Mongezi Mampurampura Stuurman (professional name Mpura) was held on August 17, 2021. According to reports, Mpura’s tragic death dealt a heavy blow to Mzansi, and his body was buried in West Park Cemetery today in Johannesburg.

Friends, celebrities and family gathered at Protea South Hall in Soweto, Johannesburg to pay their respects.
