Nomasonto Maswanganyi who was popularly referred to as Mshoza has reportedly died. News of the Kwaito Queen’s death sent shockwaves across social media platforms and messages of condolences are pouring in.

This morning, her very close friend Khanyi Mbau broke the news of her passing without revealing any longer information. “REST IN PEACE MY LOVE. i’m tired 2020,” wrote Khanyi. The late Mshoza gave up the ghost during a Johannesburg hospital this morning, 19 November 2020. Earlier this year, Mshoza allegedly contracted the Coronavirus. The explanation for death at now isn’t yet known.

The 37-year-old is survived by her two children, her son Jacob Junior and her daughter Pride.

The bubbly Kwaito musician’s impressive career spans for quite 20 years together with her timeless hit Kortez being her most memorable so far . She started singing at the tender age of 10 and began dancing for kwaito group, Chiskop from 1998. the kid star officially started her solo career at the young age of 15.

She made an enormous comeback together with her hit ‘Abantu Bam’ Laba’ and mentored many celebrities who were new within the industry.

Many are touched by her sudden passing and expressed their shock after receiving the news.

Renowned veteran TV presenter and actress Vinolia Mashego, who was documented for hosting the show Jam Alley, has died at the age of 56, during a peaceful sleep at her home on Saturday April 4 2020.
