Oscar Mbo Apologizes To Makhadzi After Stage Clash

Well-known Mzansi DJ and music producer Oscar Mbo has responded to Makhadzi’s damning claims that have since thrust him into the topping trends.

In a now-deleted Facebook post, Makhadzi claimed that Oscar Mbo’s team intentionally removed her USB drive mid-set.

The incident seemingly disrupted her performance at the annual Macufe Festival.

The two were part of the star-studded lineup for the annual Macufe Festival in Bloemfontein.

Makhadzi claims that Oscar Mbo’s team cut short her set by removing her USB drive, while the muso claims he walked onto the stage when he was supposed to perform.

Both sets ended up being short, leaving fans confused. However, despite the backlash, the DJ has shared his side of the story.

The muso has it that the promoter must clear the air over the issue. He has it that the incident has since taken a toll on his brand.

However, after the alleged incident, Oscar Mbo apologized to Makhazi for his team’s behaviour if they removed her USB driver mid-set.

During a live session with Makhadzi, Oscar Mbo said, “I’m saying again, you and I have this thing, yes, my team; I’m apologizing for them or him if he did that.

“I said it over the phone, and I’m repeating it now—if that did happen, I’m sorry, my sister.” Oscar Mbo has it that he agreed to share the set with Makhadzi, who arrived late for her performance.

Despite the agreement, poor communication and stage management led to the incident, which was marred by confusion.

“The common denominator is the event promoter; that is why I said let us get them to issue out a statement regarding the incident,” he said.

Oscar Mbo’s incident with Makhadzi comes barely a few weeks after he apologized to Lekompo rising star Kharishma after a similar incident.

Oscar Mbo’s team forcibly removed her from the stage while performing at the Blouberg Spring Annual Festival in Limpopo.

Against Kharishma’s damning Facebook post, the DJ apologized.

The muso posted, “The communication we had with the promoter of the event and the change of times was clearly not communicated.”
