When it involves hits Limpopo native, Master KG knows a couple of things he has in any case created a worldwide hit Jerusalem with vocalist Nomcebo Zikode.

Rethabile dropped her new song Ntyilo Ntyilo on Friday, following the discharge of her debut album, Like Mother Like Daughter, which dropped on her 25th birthday on September 9.

A fitting name for her album as Rethabile looks up to her mother singer Winnie Khumalo, who she has watched survive the music industry.

“I’m so lucky to possess Winnie Khumalo as my mother because I even have someone who understands the journey an artist takes and therefore the ups and downs of the journey. I even have watched her undergo ups and downs in her career and survive them, that’s how I do know I can, and that I will too,” she told TshisaLIVE.

Speaking to Daily Sun, Rethabile explained further about her new single with Master KG.

“This song is a few lasses who are having a tough time together with her relationship, so she asks for advice from her parents. this is often because she doesn’t know what else to try to or who else to ask because it’s difficult for her,” she told the publication.

Rethabile also told the publication that the song she worked with Prince Kaybee on is on the album.

The song, Isivunguvungu created quite the controversy on social media after DJ TruMpeT shared on Twitter that he had worked on an equivalent song with Rethabile.

Prince Kaybee’s and DJ TruMpeT tracks are only similar in lyrics and not beat.

In a tweet, Prince Kaybee explained that Rethabile came to the studio and recorded on a beat he gave her and didn’t let him know she had previously recorded with somebody else.

The young DJ was allegedly fired by Rethabile’s mother and manager Winner for allegedly being disrespectful.

Winnie and Rethabile later cleared up the matter and cleared Prince Kaybee’s name and prove that the song DJ TruMpeT alleges was ‘stolen’ from him, is theirs.
Winnie and Rethabile stated that they work with different producers who accompany their own beat. They then accompany their own lyrics and convey within the vocals of which remains their property should they part ways with a DJ.
