Just a couple of months ago, there was hope for his recovery after a statement indicated that his health was improving. However, things took a turn when it was revealed he required urgent brain surgery while in the ICU. Sadly, he didn’t make it through.
Fans from Botswana adored him, and his performances were always a highlight. But it wasn’t all sunshine; earlier this year, Solly faced some backlash for not showing up at a gig in Limpopo, leaving fans disappointed. He later apologized and promised to make it up to them.
As we remember Solly Moholo, let’s celebrate the incredible music he gifted us and the joy he brought into our lives. May his legacy live on, and may he find peace in the echoes of heaven. Rest in peace, Solly. You will be sorely missed.
