SA musician MaWhoo causes a stir on social media

Thandeka Ngema, professionally known as MaWhoo, is a South African singer-songwriter and model. She got wide recognition after releasing her debut single, “Umshado,” featuring Heavy-K. Ngema has also appeared in several music videos, including acting in cameo roles.

The 30-year-old Eshowe-born musician’s photo with her fan was shared on social media. The fan shared it with pleasure, pride, and excitement, along with the caption that reads, “I finally met one of my favourite vocalists.” The first thing that social media users noticed was MaWhoo’s terrible makeup, and they started roasting her for her terrible makeup on the face.

MaWhoo’s background

Apparently MaWhoo has a degree from the University of South Africa (UNISA). She started her music career at a young age, taking her recorded song to a local radio station at age 11. There is not much information about her family yet, but one little thing we know is that she has a sister named Noxolo Ngema, who is also a singer. Noxolo and MaWhoo have collaborated on a song called “Impilo.”.
