The video of the Springboks captain, Siya Kolisi rapping “free my boys” was shared by Libho Geza on TikTok.
Geza admits that the video was taken a few weeks before Kolisi’s divorce announcement.
He captions the video: ” “I should’ve posted this video on the day it was taken.”
When some South Africans called him out for posting the video for attention, he said: “I swear I was about to post it on 12 October, but I completely forgot.”
The rugby player and his wife, Rachel Kolisi recently shocked the country when they announced on Tuesday, 22 October that they are divorcing.
Kolisi recently took to his Instagram to speak out since he and his wife announced their divorce a week ago.
He shared a video of himself on the field, thanked the Sharks and the people of KZN for supporting him.
The viral video of Kolisi rapping “free my boys” has some South Africans speculating he was hinting the end of his marriage.
