The River is one professional soapie, the actors are all very talented, and the producers and directors try their hardest to make every scene perfect. Andile and Njabulo’s wedding was stunning. The wedding almost didn’t happen, but the couple ended up having two traditional weddings. The first wedding was a Xhosa wedding, and on the following day, they had Umembeso, a Zulu wedding.

Andile, the character played by Lunga Mofokeng, was dressed by Scalo from Scalo Designs according to Entertainment Commentator Phil Mphela Scalo Designs is a successful South African grandeur couture clothing brand that showcased its garments in Italy and Vogue. The brand designs stunning pieces which are a fuse of traditional and couture styles. The brand is based in Johannesburg and does not offer clothing rentals. Many stars have had their outfits custom-made by Scalo.

Njabulo’s character, played by Siyabonga Sepotokeke, who also plays the role of Nkosi Zwide on House of Zwide, was dressed by local contour traditional fashion house BlackChild Projects. The brand is similar to Scalo Designs, but each has its unique individuality.

Lindiwe Dikana, the character played by Sindi Dlathu, was also draped in Scalo Designs. In contrast, the other characters like Zweli played by Hlomla Dandala, Nomonde played by Linda Mtoba, Emma played by Lunathi Mpofu, and Beauty played by Galaletsang Koffman we’re all adorned in contour pieces from BlackChild Projects.
