“The 20% of my life that people see on screens think entitles them to make judgments and conclusions about my life is beyond me and their level of reasoning. I can only conclude this by saying it’s a reflection of who they are and how they perceive themselves.”

Nonku thanked “those that love, understand and support” her. she said whatever everyone else has to say about her does not affect her in any way.

She added: “I’m loved, blessed, and highly favoured woman of The Most High God! I’m blessed with 3 amazing beautiful children. I have siblings and parents that love me unconditionally. I’m a respected businesswoman and work very hard to provide for my family.”

Meanwhile, there have been several calls on social media for Nonku and her Mom to be taken off the show.

“I saw people speaking of my obsession with Ayanda and I don’t know where that is coming from. Bringing up Sifiso in the first season was only for my daughter’s sake for me and her to get closure, which I did in a way but that was not my only content.”

Ayanda Ncwane left the show after the first season. A source broke the news to Daily Sun last year that Ayanda was leaving the show because, “She feels like the show doesn’t respect her hubby’s legacy, which is something she has been trying to preserve. She carries the show, they are going to have to find someone as strong and as interesting as her brand.”

She also later had an interview with the publication and confirmed her exit saying that the show was damaging her late husband Sfiso Ncwane’s legacy. She also added, “I have built my brand and my brand is so big and high for me to be just associated with the show. I recently saw a headline that only associated me with the Real Housewives of Durban, and I got annoyed because I have worked so hard building a brand of being a music executive.

“So for me to be associated with something so small whereas I have worked so hard did not sit well with me, and I decided that the show is not for me as I don’t want to be reduced to just being a housewife, while I have worked so hard for everything that I have,” she told the publication.
