Tenth anniversary as actress: Angela Sithole.

Angela Sithole is marking a decade in the acting industry with a well-deserved celebration.
Despite encountering some bumps along the way, she sees every challenge as a stepping stone towards her goals. The former Zabalaza, in an interview with the Daily Sun, expressed how much she has evolved over the past decade.

“I’ve faced a lot of challenges over the years, but those challenges have helped shape who I am today. One thing I’m grateful for is that I’ve learned how to stand up for myself.I overcame obstacles by not giving up and constantly reminding myself exactly what it was I wanted in my career,” she said.

The 30-year-old from Joburg is a vibrant and ambitious individual who has a deep love for acting and performing arts. She has quite the repertoire, starring in Savage Beauty, The Queen, Smoke and Mirrors, Lingashoni, and In the Dock, to name just a few.

“I’m fascinated by the thought of being able to step into a different character. I love all things beauty, travelling and adventure. All in all, I’m a force to be reckoned with.I’ve always wanted to act. I grew up impersonating my teachers and friends in front of the mirror,” she said.

“All my roles have a special place in my heart, so this is a tough one. I think Diamond City opened more doors for me because that character gave me an opportunity to play. A beautiful challenge that was,” she revealed

The actress humorously remarked that portraying Puleng proved to be quite a challenge.“That character was much older than me, so it required a lot of emotional maturity. Also, Sonto in Smoke & Mirrors was hard because I had to play the complete opposite of Nthabiseng,” Angela said.

In addition to her many accomplishments, she has established the Angela Sithole Foundation. She mentioned that she’s currently working on a show called Empini, set to stream on Showmax on Thursday, 23 May.
