The River star Tsholo Matshaba has taken to her social media platforms to remember her late husband, the former Motsweding FM presenter Chris Matshaba.

Taking to Instagram to remember her husband, Tsholo said she is okay and still smiling.

She wrote, “Happy 4th Transition Day My Love❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ I’m okay, I still smile, and I still laugh.”

Fans and other celebrities including Simphiwe Ngema, Manaka Ranaka, Moshe Ndiki, and others have since taken to the comments section to send their love and support.

Chris passed away back in 2018 following his long battle with cancer. Speaking to TimesLive at the time, his family spokesperson Kabelo Mosito told the publication that Chris fought till his last breath.

“We knew his condition was serious but he tried his best to hide his pain. His health was declining but he was always surrounded by family and friends so it wasn’t a case of doctors calling us to tell us to come to say goodbye. I think many of us knew (he was going to die) but we were just praying for some kind of miracle,” Kabelo said.

Another one of our favourate ZAlebs who recently remembered her late husband is Businesswoman and actress Connie Ferguson.

A few days ago, Connie took to Instagram to pay tribute to her husband Shona Ferguson, six months after his passing.

” It is well my love. By God’s grace, we are okay. Continue resting in peace, my love. Till we are all reunited when it’s our time to be called. I LOVE YOU FOREVER.”

Connie’s daughter Lesedi also penned a sweet message to her mom wishing her love and light in the “new phase of her life,” she also gifted her a book titled ‘Like A Flower In The Field.’

A gift! The light of my life! My diva! The #firstdaughter!”
