Uzalo actress Thabisile Zikhali finally opens her own beauty salon

Thabisile Zikhali, the award-winning actress known for her role as Minenhle on the popular TV series Isitha: The Enemy, has had a remarkable year. Not only has she achieved success on screen, but she has also ventured into the world of entrepreneurship by opening her own beauty salon, Lavish Beauty Salon, in Halfway House, Midrand, Johannesburg.

Thabisile’s passion for beauty and grooming has been a lifelong pursuit. From running an informal salon in her family’s dining room during her primary school days, to braiding her own hair and that of her fellow university students, her entrepreneurial spirit and love for the beauty industry have been evident from a young age. Despite facing financial constraints in her earlier years, Thabisile never gave up on her dream of owning a beauty business, and she has now turned her passion into a thriving reality.

"When I was in primary school, I ran an informal salon in our dining room. I used to braid my neighbours' hair every weekend. I even had a sign on our gate inviting potential customers,' she told ZiMoja
