53-year-old ‘Black-ish’ actor and comedian Anthony Anderson escaped with minor bruises after a freak on-set accident in Cape Town, SA.

American actor and comedian Anthony Anderson had his local fans concerned about him after he took to Instagram and shared that he spent the night in the emergency room following an on-set accident in Cape Town, South Africa as seen in a post shared Friday, 2 February.

‘NEED A STUNTMAN’: ANTHONY ANDERSON ON FREAK ON-SET ACCIDENT

The 53-year-old international comedian and actor is said to have gotten injured during the filming of the upcoming film titled G20, ZiMoja reported. He was rushed to a hospital in the Mother City on Thursday, 1 February, the publication reported. On his feed, Anderson shed some light on how the accident came about.

“I spent the night in the emergency room. Movie set fight gone wrong. Me against two goons and a chair! Guess who didn’t win,” he wrote on his Instagram feed.

“Who needs a stuntman? Me that’s who! I’m not as young as I used to be! CT scan and X-rays showed nothing fractured or broken in my back just a deep contusion. That chair will never be the same though! Bloodied and bowed but never broken,” Anderson added.
