Nadia Jaftha has been branded a ‘liar’ over her statement about her brother Taariq, who has been accused of domestic violence.
Nadia Jaftha has been dragged over the coals over a statement she issued about her brother Taariq, who has been accused of domestic abuse.
To add insult to injury, the influencer’s comments were contradicted by her brother in an TikTok Live.
Taariq made headlines after the family of his wife Danica – or Aleesha as she is known- accused him of abusing her and keeping her under duress.
NADIA JAFTHA RESPONDS TO ALLEGATIONS ABOUT BROTHER
On Friday, 16 February, Dale Patience – the brother of Danica or Aleesha – expressed his concern for his sister.
According to Dale, his sister is in an allegedly abusive marriage with Taariq Jaftha. Dale also accused Taariq – who has two other wives – of holding his sister under duress. The couple have five young children together.

On her Instagram account, Nadia Jaftha distanced herself from the family drama playing out on social media.
She said in a statement: “Personally, I do not have a relationship with Taariq Jaftha nor do I know the whereabouts of Aleesha/Danica or have any involvement in the recent developments.
She continued: “I do not condone anyone’s rights being infringed. I do not know all of the details as I have no contact with Taariq, but I want nothing more than for Aleesha/Danica to be found and reunited with her family. I have and am actively cooperating with her family and will continue to do so”.

In an TikTok Live on Saturday, Taariq insisted that he had a “great” relationship with Nadia Jaftha and had recently spoken to her.
