Nyamane previously revealed to Sowetan that embodying the character seemed challenging.

Her character, who is now married to Khumo Moroka (Aubrey Poo) is a fearless journalist who exposes stories no matter the danger.

“I was a ball of nerves on my first day on set… it was a different environment with new actors that I didn’t know very well. Another thing I was worried about was the fact that I am going to play Nozipho for a very long time, so it was important for me to introduce her to the audience very well,” she adds.

She also revealed that she didn’t want to be redundant or boring with her role, hence she valued the importance of giving more to her character.

The former Scandal! actress also revealed that she got her name [Six] from playing provincial hockey.

“People always ask whether my real name is ‘Six’ and I always say ‘yes’ because I tend to believe it is. I got that name from my days of playing provincial hockey and I played position six,” she explained.
