1. Ebenhaezer Dibakwane was born on January 24th 1994. He was aged 31 at the time of his death.
2. His standup comedy highlights included opening for award-winning comedian Dillan Oliphant at his first one man show, Oliphant in the Room. He was also billed on the lineup of the Comedy Central International Comedy Festival alongside Trevor Noah, Aries Spears, Jeff Ross, Hannibal Buress, Marc Lottering, Basketmouth, Carl Joshua Ncube, Eugene Khoza, Tats Nkonzo and many more.
3. He got his big break in the industry when he won the 6th annual Savanna Comics’ Choice Newcomer of The Year Award in 1996. He subsequently won a second Savanna Comics’ Choice Award for Intermediate Comedian of The Year.
4. Ebenhaezer was also recognized for his writing skills when he was nominated for a SAFTA for Best Achievement in Script-writing.

5. He was also an actor of note. Eb made his television acting debut when he guest starred as a film crew director in the e.tv soapie Ashes to Ashes in 2015. He was also on shows such as Divorced at 50, Real Estate Sisters and Miseducation.
6. He also acted in theatre productions such as Marat/Sade, A Beautiful Thing, The Crucible, Horror Story and 24 Hours in the City.
7. Eb was also a talented TV host among other achievements. In 2016 he bagged himself a presenting gig on the SABC1 show Walala Wasala.
8. In 2016 he was a recurring guest and writer on the SABC2 sketch comedy show The Bantu Hour.
9. In 2018 he was one of the celebrity contestants on the first season of the M-Net reality competition Dancing with the Stars South Africa. His professional dance partner was Nombulelo Hlathi.
10. He passed away on Friday 7th March 2025, and details about his death are yet to be shared. Eb leaves behind his parents, two brother and two sisters.
