Boity Thulo was one of the South African celebrities who attended The Lion King’s 30th anniversary celebrations at the Hollywood Bowl in California, United States. The theatrical celebration included a live orchestra, sets, and dancers.
South African composer and producer Lebo M also headlined the event. Surprisingly, some celebrated stars, Jennifer Hudson, Heather Headley, and Bradley Gibson, were in attendance.
However, against the anniversary, Boity Thulo took to Instagram to share some of her priceless moments. She also shared her photo with TV star Kim Kardashian. She captioned her post, “A night to remember. LionKing 30th Anniversary.

Undoubtedly, the photo has gained thousands of comments and reactions from fellow celebrities and fans. DJ Zinhle commented, “You met Kim.” Influencer Ayanda Thabethe posted, “I have no choice but to Stan.” Mzansi was more than convinced that Boity Thulo’s viral photo was picture-perfect.
It’s undoubtedly every star’s dream to rub shoulders with Kim Kardashian. Over the years, she has fast become one of the most celebrated and followed celebrities worldwide. She is best known for her TV shows, sense of fashion, and controversial love life. Kim Kardashian was once married to rapper Ye, known as Kanye West.
The composer also posed for photos with North West, Kim Kardashian’s daughter, who made her acting debut at the anniversary. Lebo M also thanked the audience for their reception.
“Hollywoodbowl got lit last night, so humbled. Thank you, LA,” Lebo M posted.
However, Boity Thulo and Lebo M joins a host of South African celebrities who have rubbed shoulders with some of the world’s A-listers. A few months ago, influencer and YouTuber Mihlali Ndamase met Rihanna at the launch of Fenty Beauty’s Soft Glow foundation in Los Angeles, California.
Linda Mtoba also rubbed shoulders with the star at the event. Last year, Tebogo Thobejane met American rapper Lil Durk in Dubai. She shared photos with the star on social media. 947 radio personality Anele Mdoda was reportedly seated across her favourite couple, Jay Z and Beyonce.

Just like Boity, Lebo M had time to pose for some photos with other stars, including Jennifer Hudson. He posted, “Spectacular rehearsals day 2 with the baddest voices and sisters one could ever dream of singing and sharing a moment in song with. What a day.
