A video of an elderly couple married for over five decades touched the hearts of many when the woman was seen grooming her husband’s beard [watch]
With every stroke of the brush against the grey facial hairs, the woman is shown to be very gentle, even holding the top of her husband’s head to best get the job done.
The video was captured by TikTok user Bongiwe Shabangu, who shared that the couple have been together in matrimony for 56 years. Bongiwe also noted that the actions were a “true definition of love.”
The video garnered close to 900,000 views and flooded with over 4000 comments. Some comments were people expressing their own experiences of love while others shared the love stories of others:
