Though it’s unclear what role Brink will portray at this point, fans of the series are delighted to see the star in the Ferguson Films series.

This comes after producer-actress Connie Ferguson took to her Instagram on Monday, 1 April, to confirm the filming of third season.

Ferguson shared a message from Netflix which read: “Welcome to the start of production on Kings of Joburg S3!’ We’re so happy to be working with you!”

Kings of Joburg was created by Connie’s late husband, Shona Ferguson, who portrayed the role of Simon Masire in season one.

Connie, the cast and crew of the show previously dedicated the show to Shona who passed away from Covid-19 in July 2021.
