Actor Sicelo Buthelez is set to make his debut on Skeem Saam as Evelyn’s son and Ntswaki’s love interest.

Recently, SABC 1 revealed that former Gomora actor and musician Sicelo Buthelez joins Skeem Saam.

The actor is set to make his debut on April 2, playing the role of Tobias (Toby) Maswahla, a university student with a mischievous streak who gets expelled and is forced to move to Turfloop after causing serious trouble in Johannesburg.

“Having joined the Skeem Saam family has been amazing. It’s a different environment, but it feels like home. I’m enjoying it,” Sicelo said.

His character reportedly starts attending Turfloop University, takes up part-time work, and turns over a fresh leaf, according to SABC. His character could include feelings for Ntswaki, a student at Turf High.

According to the tease posted by SABC 1, Ntswaki and Tobias will first meet at the Maputla residence, where he will deliver a parcel. The teaser indicates that it will be love at first sight.

The teasers also confirm that actor Sicelo Buthelezi’s character, Tobias Moswahla, is Evelyn’s son.Evelyn once mentioned having a son when she was dating Wallet, so her son is coming to Turf.
