Another one! Springbok WAG announces pregnancy on Mother’s Day.
Stacy Mbonambi – the wife of Springbok Bongi Mbonambi – is celebrating Mother’s Day with a special announcement!
Rugby player Bongi Mbonambi and his wife Stacy are the latest Springbok couple to make a pregnancy announcement – on Mother’s Day, no less!
The hooker and his partner will expect their second child in just a few months.
STACY AND BONGI MBONAMBI ARE EXPECTING AGAIN!
In a sweet Mother’s Day post, Springbok WAG Stacy Mbonambi announced her second pregnancy.
In it, the soon-to-be mom-of-two posted pictures of her growing baby bump being lovingly kissed by her firstborn daughter, Esa.
She shared: “Love being a mom, now I’ll be a mom of two in a few months. Surprise, surprise, can only keep a secret for so long….”
Stacy continued: “Being a mom is so many things at once. I can’t describe it in one word, but it’s the best thing ever, and it’s also the hardest thing ever. Only by God’s grace and mercy was I able to be the best mom to my girl; now, five years later, He blessed me with another. God’s time is a perfect time; I’m in a much better place mentally, and emotionally than a few years ago.”
Stacy’s Springbok baby news comes days after she celebrated her 34th birthday.

On his Instagram Story, Bongi shared: “Happy Mother’s Day my liefie. Awesome mommy. Number two on the way”.
FROM CHURCH PALS TO LIFE PARTNERS AND PARENTS
Stacy and Bongi Mbonambi wed in 2017 after a few months of dating. The couple met during a church service in Cape Town and quickly clicked.
“When I met him, I didn’t know who he was. I just enjoyed talking to him.”, Stacy told Get It magazine.
Since then, Stacy has been a supportive Springbok WAG and has accompanied Bongi to both the team’s Rugby World Cup victories in 2019 and 2023.
