It feels unreal, it’s such an incredible honour, a blessing and a testament to the hard work and dedication that I have put into my journey. It feels surreal to have the opportunity to represent South Africa on such a global stage once again. I am immensely grateful for all the support that have come my way thus far. This experience has taught me so much about resilience, determination, and the benefits of putting my best in everything I do.

What are you most excited about for Miss Supranational?

The chance to meet and connect with the other amazing women competing. Miss Supranational is a platform that brings together diverse cultures, talents and aspirations, which I find truly inspiring. Moreover, visiting Poland for the first time, experiencing the Polish culture, their traditional cuisine and the Polish people is also a big plus which I am so excited about. Lastly, I am looking forward to showcasing the rich heritage, diversity and beauty of South Africa on an international platform and promoting the cause close to my heart.

What makes the pageant unique – and a good fit for you?

What sets the Miss Supranational pageant apart is its core belief that every woman should dream big, reach for the stars and set high goals irrespective of circumstances. The pageant believes in inspiring women to strive for excellence, break barriers, and become the best version of themselves whilst radiating their unique inner strength, grace, and resilience. Hence, embodying the term an aspirational inspirational woman.

These are values that resonate with me on a personal level, as I am driven by the desire to inspire others and make a difference. Being part of this pageant would not only allow me to showcase my unique qualities but also serve as a platform to represent South Africa to the world.

FROM MISS UNIVERSE TO MISS SUPRANATIONAL

What have you learnt from Miss Universe that you will be taking to Miss Supranational?

My time at Miss Universe was such an unforgettable experience filled with great memories and forming new relationships. The biggest thing I learned is to always possess a winning mentality no matter the outcome. I believe that winning is not the only measure of success. Personal growth, learning, and self-discovery are equally important.

You see, believing in yourself, your abilities and persevering even in the face of disappointment or setbacks, are critical to achieving your goals and fulfilling your dreams in life. Remember that being a winner is not just about winning, but also about the journey and the lessons you learn along the way. I believe that this is a vital lesson that I will be taking to the Miss Supranational Stage, and I know it will serve me well and help me navigate the various challenges and opportunities that come with competing on an international stage once again.

Who was your favourite previous Miss Supranational winner?

It is so difficult to choose just one favorite previous Miss Supranational winner, as each of them brought their unique charm and grace to the title. So, I would choose two and it would be Chanique Rabe from Namibia, who won in 2021 and Lalela Mswane from South Africa, who was the first South African woman to win the title in 2022.Being that they are both African, it is a source of immense pride and inspiration for the entire continent.

Chanique and Lalela have not only showcased the beauty, grace, and intelligence of African women on a global stage but have also shattered stereotypes and proven that African beauty knows no bounds. Their victories have instilled a sense of hope and belief in the dreams of countless young girls across Africa, showing them that we too can achieve greatness and make a significant impact in the world..
