Busiswa drags baby daddy to maintenance court
In response to his lack of support for their seven-year-old son, singer-songwriter Busiswa Gqulu has dragged her baby daddy, Katlego “DJ Kaygee The Vibe” Mlangeni, to maintenance court, according to Zimoja.
Kaygee had a child with his childhood girlfriend Carole Pasha before dating Busiswa, but the two split up after Busiswa came into their lives. Busiswa became pregnant in 2018 and gave birth during the year. The parents announced the new arrival of their baby child.
In 2019, the pair separated after Kaygee allegedly caught her red-handed in a compromising position with her friend, producer and DJ Themba Kubheka. Kaygee reportedly assaulted the two out of rage but denied laying a hand on Busiswa. At the time, Kaygee said he drove back home and noticed a Polo where he normally parked
“I got into the house and it was unlocked and seems like they decided to do a quickie. So, I entered the bedroom and I caught them having sex on the same bed I sleep on everyday. I took a snippet of the video because I noticed they could hear me. I started physically fighting Marc (Themba).”

A friend close to KayGee says that since Busiswa and KayGee separated, he has not been consistent in maintaining his child. “He is a DJ and a producer. We know the job is seasonal and depends on bookings,” he says. “He has not been doing well, and Busiswa knows that, but she has taken him to maintenance court,” he adds.
Busiswa allegedly filed a maintenance case against her ex-lover last week. The friend is unsure of his most recent Papgeld payment date. She is perfectly entitled to do so. A mother should never raise her child by herself.” Bulie Nazo, Busiswa’s manager, refused to comment. “Personal things are not discussed. Her career is my responsibility; her romantic life is not.”
