‘By die huis’: Handre and Marise Pollard return to SA

Marise Pollard, the wife of Springboks fly-half Handre Pollard, revealed that they have returned to South Africa from the UK, via an Instagram post on Wednesday 29 January.

HANDRE AND MARISE POLLARD TOUCH DOWN IN SOUTH AFRICA

Springboks fly-half Handre Pollard and his family have returned to South Africa from the UK. Handre is married to Marise Pollard and together they have a son named Hunter. The pair welcomed Hunter – their first child in April 2024.

In May 2024, the pair came back to South Africa from the UK and spent a few months in their hometowns. In September, the pair returned to the UK. Now, they are back in South Africa. Marise shared a photo of her family on the plane via her Instagram Stories with the South African flag indicating that they have arrived in South Africa.

According to MailOnline, Handre and Marise call the town of Market Harborough, a town in England home. The pair moved to the UK in 2022, when Handre signed a R14 million a year contract with Leicester Tigers. Handre and Marise returned to their home country before the “business end” of the season, as expressed in an Instagram post. Take a look…

“Been a cold but very enjoyable stretch of games. Made some amazing memories with the family along the way as always. Time to recharge and catch some sun before the business end of the season,” he wrote.

Handre hails from Somerset West in the Western Cape. Marise was raised on a farm in Bloemendal, Eastern Cape.
