Requirements 
Candidates applying for these positions must meet the following criteria:
- A Grade 8 qualification with relevant experience
- A Grade 12 Certificate (an added advantage)
- Extensive experience in a cleaning environment
- Basic knowledge of general hygiene practices
- Familiarity with facility layouts
- Understanding of cleaning products and their applications
- Proficiency in using various cleaning equipment and products
- Basic literacy and communication skills
- Knowledge of departmental policies and procedures
- Willingness to work extended hours, including overtime, weekends, and public holidays
- Preference will be given to candidates from the local area of the office or position applied for
Duties 
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following tasks:

- Thorough cleaning of toilets, equipment, offices, state property, and assets
- Efficient use of cleaning materials and equipment
- Daily cleaning of the reception area and offices
- Emptying office dustbins daily and disposing of refuse appropriately in designated bins
- Collecting paper waste in specially marked bins for recycling company pickup
- Checking and cleaning bathrooms twice daily
- Dusting office furniture in a timely manner
- Vacuuming all carpets at least twice per week
- Cleaning windows on the inside quarterly on a rotational basis
- Storing cleaning equipment and products neatly in designated cupboards on each floor
- Assisting with the preparation of meetings in the boardroom
