‘Bought the whole store’: DJ Maphorisa has brought the receipts, revealing that he blew almost R100k at GALXBOY.
Award-winning Amapianio disc jockey Themba “DJ Maphorisa” Sekowe on Wednesday, 17 April took to Instagram and showed off his shopping receipt from GALXBOY which had his fans and social media followers’ jaws on the floor.

DJ Maphorisa is best known for producing some of the best Amapiano tracks, and of course, rocking some of the most expensive and stylish clothing. He is often dripped in high-end international brands including Gucci and Louis Vuitton, however, this time around, he has shown his appreciation for a South African brand.
On his feed recently, he revealed that he went shopping at GALXBOY and purchased items worth almost R100,000.
“Local is Leker,” he captioned.
While many people may think DJ Maphorisa did too much at GALXBOY, it appears he has previously spent much more, buying himself a designer bag. However, at that time, he bought himself an item from a non-local store. According to Briefly, the 36-year-old disc jockey owns a Hermès Birkin bag worth a whopping R477,000.

MORE OF DJ MAPHORISA’S EXTREME SHOPPING SPREES
Previously, The South African reported that the popular Amapiano DJ had jet set to Dubai for a gig and went on one of his lavish shopping sprees. He was said to have travelled overseas with Dali Wonga as seen in the since-deleted Instagram photos.
On the trip, the Lorch hitmaker is said to have shared snippets of his lavish shopping sprees and revealed that he spent R1.5 million on a watch which he got from Cartier.
In another story, Briefy also reported that Maphorisa was once spotted dripped in an outfit that cost an arm and a leg, an estimated R78,000. According to the publication, the outfit included a Versace graphic-print heritage-fit silk shirt worth an estimated R12,000, a pair of AMIRI MX1 ripped skinny jeans worth about R21,000, a pair of Amiri Bandana Buckled Boots that cost around R27,000, as well as a pair of Cartier glasses that cost about R17,000.
The DJ’s fans and social media followers were thrilled to see that he had blown some of his cash in the country for a change.
