DR CLAUDE MASHEGO AND YOUTH LEADERSHIP
Dr Claude Mashego’s ultimate goal is to produce informed young leaders capable of critical thinking, reasoning, and positively contributing to their families, communities, and Africa as a whole.
Passionate about youth leadership, Claude aims to activate young minds to become change agents in their communities and the world.
POSITIVE ROLE MODEL
The driving force behind YLN is the absence of mentorship and a scarcity of positive role models.
Dr Claude Mashego believes in the African proverb, “Indlela ibuzwa kwabaphambili” – the path is asked from those who walked it before.
Huge congratulations to Dr Claude Mashego, our very own UP alumna and newly crowned Miss World South Africa! The 24-year-old doctor was crowned in the inaugural Miss World South Africa pageant held recently in Pretoria. She received her MBChB in 2022.
