Edwin Sodi’s ‘ex-girlfriend’ ties the knot
Television personality and beauty pageant queen, Kat Ncala, has revealed that she is now a mother and a wife.
Kat Ncala, who is a former YoTV presenter and popular for her rumoured relationship with controversial businessman Edwin Sodi, is now a married woman.

The Miss Teen Africa 2014 winner revealed to ZiMoja that that she recently secretly tied the knot with a man whose name she’d like to keep private. In the same interview, Ncala revealed that she is also a mother.
“I met my husband in 2021 through a mutual friend,” she said.
“Initially, I thought we were too different to make it work, but as the saying goes ‘opposites attract’ proved true. I’m bubbly and loud, while he is introverted, a math geek and calm. Our differences complement each other perfectly. I feel incredibly blessed and grateful for my family. Being a mother and part of the ‘wifey club’ has been a joyous and fulfilling journey.” she said.
KAT NCALA’S ‘RELATIONSHIP’ WITH EDWIN SODI
Besides her work in the beauty pageant industry, Ncala has previously made headlines for her relationship with corruption-accused businessman, Edwin Sodi.
In 2021, it was reported that Ncala is expecting a baby with the Blackhead Consulting owner. A year later, the TV personality accused Sodi of raping her, leading to a public spat with the businessman’s current girlfriend, Karen Zulu.
During their online brawl, Zulu accused Ncala of lying about her pregnancy, adding that she sent a journalist a picture of baby that was not hers. The social media influencer also accused Ncala of creating a fake wedding invitation and sending it to bloggers. In addition, Zulu said Ncala lied about the rape allegations, further accusing her of sleeping with another man in Sodi’s house.
A few days after the rape claims, Ncala released a lengthy statement in which she apologised for making the allegations.
In the same year, she was rumoured dating communications mogul Xolisa Dyeshana. It was also alleged that Dyeshana had had purchased Bentley for her, however, she denied both claims.
Ncala’s alleged love triangle with Sodi and Zulu again made headlines in August 2023 when Sunday World reported that Zulu “gate-crashed” Ncala’s mother’s birthday party.
The publication reported at the time that, while Sodi was invited to the event, Zulu was not on the guest list and plus-ones were not allowed.
