Social media is abuzz with well wishes for music artist Shebeshxt (real name Lehlogonolo Chauke) after news of a car crash on Saturday, 8 June. South Africans are sending their hopes for a speedy recovery.

The Limpopo-born rapper was apparently en route to perform at an ANC Siyanqoba Rally celebration concert in Lebowakgomo when his Volkswagen Polo had an unfortunate run into with a truck. According to Sunday World, a grey vehicle carrying three passengers had a bit of a tumble and overturned.
Reportedly, ZiMoja shared that tragically, a nine-year-old girl lost her life in the car. The spokesperson for the transport department in Limpopo, Tidimalo Chuene, confirmed the sad news of the little girl’s passing.
Apparently, the unfortunate incident involved Shebeshxt’s daughter, whom he shares with his manager and long-term partner, Kholofelo, who was also present in the car.“A 9-year-old female passenger from the Polo passed away while the driver and another passenger sustained serious injuries. The cause of the incident is still under investigation,” Chuene said.
Videos of a child’s body, believed to be Shebeshxt’s daughter, have become quite the sensation on social media platforms. Within the footage, the lifeless figure rests discreetly besides the artist’s battered Volkswagen Polo.
In yet another video, the musician can be seen sprawled on the ground, receiving medical attention from paramedics in close proximity to a stretcher. In the video, the rapper from Dilo Tse Massive has his head and right foot bandaged, expressing his pain with moans and desperate pleas for water.
